GENTE GRANDE ENERGY PROJECT

RENEWABLE ENERGY & DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE

TIERRA DEL FUEGO, CHILE

Project overview

The Gente Grande Energy Project presents a unique opportunity for investment in a secure, low-cost, energy and digital infrastructure development for hyperscale data centres with a total renewable generation capacity of 3.5GW.

The Project is in a politically stable and naturally secure location in southern Chile with over 37,000 hectares under long-term lease and extensively studied to confirm no major environmental impacts in preparation for submission of EIA permitting applications. The location also benefits from available natural gas from existing and additional planned production in the area, and has opportunities for dual fibre-optic data connections.

The main use of land will be for onshore wind power generation and additionally several plots have been identified for construction of power user facilities. User facility areas can be adjusted, added or expanded within the overall development area to meet end-user requirements.

The development area also includes extensive shore-side access to Gente Grande Bay which adjoins the Magellan Strait shipping routes and two maritime concessions have been granted to the Project allowing the construction and operation of new port facilities.
